Job Title: National Account Manager

Job Summary:

Cover-More Group is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to lead revenue generation efforts through Australian distribution partners within our APAC Sales & Distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing customer-led strategies, managing client profitability, and orchestrating multifunctional relationship frameworks to optimize profitability and sustainability of agency distribution partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, define, and deliver strategic direction aligned with business and distribution partners.
  • Manage partners in our banking and insurance/finance space.
  • Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • Take responsibility for achieving revenue goals and improving bottom-line results.
  • Lead change and innovation processes to drive transformation.
  • Communicate and manage stakeholder expectations regarding sales performance.
  • Leverage resources to differentiate offerings and maximize performance.
  • Utilize feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement.
  • Make timely decisions to optimize performance.
  • Develop effective incentive frameworks to drive alignment and performance.
  • Take ownership of B2B solutions and technology for sustainable growth.
  • Maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Understand the competitive environment for market relevance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the banking and insurance industries, with a deep understanding of their unique dynamics, regulations, and market trends.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth within the banking and insurance sectors, with a strong network of contacts and relationships in these industries.
  • Proven ability to initiate and manage change in a complex business environment.
  • Deep understanding of business and industry to align strategic plans effectively.
  • Advanced financial literacy for maximizing financial performance.
  • Strong grasp of market dynamics, competitor behavior, and emerging trends.
  • Track record in identifying and executing commercial opportunities for profit.
  • Experience in developing and managing SLAs with stakeholders.
  • Effective delegation, negotiation, and task management abilities.
  • Knowledgeable in assessing customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Intricate understanding of the Australian travel and insurance industries.
  • Advanced capability in strategy development and planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills for setting priorities.
  • 5 years of sales or account management experience.
  • Experience leading medium/large sales teams.
  • Familiarity with financial or travel product distribution in a sophisticated B2B environment.
