The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Administration Supervisor to join our DAF Sales Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership to the Sales and Logistics Coordinators, overseeing the team as they facilitate and process DAF Truck Sales orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily activities of Sales Coordinators to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery of trucks.
  • Maximise staff morale, motivation, and performance by providing guidance and support.
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless communication.
  • Oversee the maintenance of databases and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure all order processing complies with established departmental work policies and procedures.
  • Maintain chassis files for each truck, ensuring all necessary documentation is stored.
  • Monitor and report on build and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure the company CRM database is maintained accurately.
  • Monitor order trends and lead forecasting activities to inform business decisions.
  • Support the Operations Manager and General Manager in their duties as required.
About You
  • A 'people person' with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of the DAF truck systems and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite and in-house programs.
  • Strong negotiating skills to resolve conflicts and achieve business objectives.
  • Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is preferred but not essential.
