Payroll Supervisor

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Bayswater. You will be supporting and managing the Payroll Team, while performing the general Payroll tasks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage complex payroll matters - calculations, queries etc.
- Prepare month-end and year-end processes for the payroll function.
- Interpret multiple Enterprise Agreements and modern awards.
- End-to-end payroll management including reconciliations, reporting, adjustments, deductions, etc.
- Manage and lead the Payroll Team.
- Be the key contact person for any payroll related queries.
- Responsible for on-time fortnight pays including Single Touch Payroll, Superannuation payments, Payroll Tax, Child Support etc.
- Identify development and training needs for the team.
- Update and maintain all information on the system to ensure accuracy.
- Workcover management.
- Identify process and system improvement measures to ensure the efficient management of the payroll function.
- Other payroll duties as required.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to take accountability for the performance of the payroll department.
- Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Awards and relevant procedures and legislations.
- Good understanding of employee entitlements.
- Experience in JDE and KRONOS systems would be highly regarded.
