**THE OPPORTUNITY**
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Rule Writer to join the Sales Tool Project Team on a 24-month fixed term

PACCAR is embarking on an ambitious project aimed at revolutionising our Sales Tool to achieve unprecedented efficiency and consistency in customer interactions, enhance our competitive edge and foster significant business growth. The project will unify the selling experience across both Kenworth and DAF truck brands and set a standard for excellence across broader PACCAR divisions.

The Rule Writer will be responsible for developing product selection functionality in the new Sales Tool, ensuring an intuitive experience for dealers, and truck order accuracy, which will facilitate a smoother, faster ordering process that aligns with PACCAR’s business goals.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and refine rules for logical and efficient product interactions
- Manage the transition of existing rules to a new rules engine
- Participate in Agile team meetings to align rule development with project goals
- Design and test user interfaces for product selection and configuration
- Promote advantages of product selections and provide alternative options
- Conduct rigorous testing and address issues to ensure system functionality
- Maintain documentation and training for Experlogix CPQ

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong truck knowledge is highly preferred
- A team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Displays an ability to adapt to new technologies and is creative to resolve complex product rule issues
- A background in engineering with a tertiary qualification is desirable
- Proven experience in QA and Systems Testing
- Experience of strong data management and code knowledge preferred
- Proven project management experience preferred
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps is strongly desired
