bestchance Child Family Care is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of building stronger communities, healthier families and happier childhoods. We achieve this through our quality education, care and therapy services for children, our support programs for families, and our registered training organisation.

We provide a supportive environment to grow, nurture and develop strong bonds with children and families. Our early childhood intervention services include therapeutic intervention and capacity building supports to children aged 0-10 years and their families.

We are committed to best practice within the early childhood intervention space and deliver our services through the Key Worker model by using a Transdisciplinary Practice (TDP) approach and for more complex cases, a Team Around the Child (TAC) approach. We are passionate about providing a welcoming and safe environment for our children and families to thrive and learn, and have adopted family-centered and strengths-based practices.

The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead our Children's Therapy Services team on a twelve month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will oversee the highest standards and excellence in all aspects of service delivery to our clients, adding value and contributing to the continuing success and growth of Children's Therapy Services.

The Program Manager will provide operational leadership to manage, support and build capacity of a dedicated team of Allied Health professionals to provide high quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children in order to increase children's meaningful participation in daily life.

This leadership role includes taking responsibility for all aspects of business management, ensuring the highest standards, compliance and governance of the NDIS and clinical frameworks are met, while also exhibiting a commercially focussed lens to achieve operational and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership to manage, support and build capacity of a dedicated team of Allied Health professionals
  • Oversight of business operations, ensuring compliance and governance of the NDIS and clinical frameworks
  • Exhibit a commercially focussed lens to achieve operational and financial targets
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial drivers to achieve viability; managing profit and loss performance, budget development, financial performance analysis, and data driven decision making to improve efficiency and maintain/grow profits
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest standards and excellence in service delivery

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or program management role, preferably in the disability sector
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, budgets and resources
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and other funding models used within the Allied Health sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with staff, stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds
  • A genuine passion in creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment
