Job Description
As an Early Childhood Educator at Y Ballarat, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging learning experiences for children aged n/a. Your expertise will encompass designing and delivering fun, creative, and tailored educational activities that cater to each child's unique needs and interests. By doing so, you will help foster a warm and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of our programs, which are grounded in the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) guidelines. This will involve maintaining a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the overall well-being and development of children in our care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or be working towards it). For those aspiring to become teachers, VIT registration as an ECT is also essential. A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and VEYLDF frameworks is crucial in ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality education.
A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them) are mandatory. Additionally, a friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work effectively with diverse age groups in various settings are highly valued qualities in this position.
