Job Opportunity: Desktop Support Technician

This part-time role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide day-to-day local support for desktops, laptops, and printers. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates for all reported incidents
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical skills in Windows 10-11, Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Excellent communication relationship-building and internal customer service skills
  • Ability to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support
  • Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of networks, servers, audio/visual, smart devices, and telecoms
