We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Auto & General. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the highest level of quality in motor claims handling.

As a Motor Claims Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in the ongoing development and implementation of our Motor Claims Quality Assurance program. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and technical precision across the Motor Supply Chain, Assessing Support Officers, Customer Service Officers, and Fraud teams.

You will be responsible for conducting regular and independent technical assurance reviews in line with our Motor Claims Quality Assurance criteria and documented standard operating procedures. Your analytical skills will enable you to identify areas of improvement in claims handling processes across the Insurance value chain, including supplier processes and customer interactions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency and adherence to established Motor Claims standard operating procedures and technical excellence.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of motor claims management processes across the claims value chain, including suppliers, responsibilities, regulations, and practices.
  • Team Performance Improvement: Support continuous technical upskilling by identifying areas of improvement within the team's technical capabilities.
  • Performance Monitoring and Technical Reporting: Monitor team member and supplier performance and adherence to standard operating procedures using assurance frameworks and metrics.
  • Risk Management: Identify and report risks associated with potential breaches of standard operating procedures that could impact customers and/or the insurance company's operations, reputation, or regulatory compliance.

This role requires 3-5 years' experience in Motor Claims & Assessing, Motor Supply Chain, or a technical auditing or process improvement role. You must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively engage, influence, and develop others is essential.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
