Job Details

This is a position that involves planning, implementing and coordinating health promotion programs. The role focuses on delivering key priorities outlined in local, state and national strategies for HIV, STIs, hepatitis C and hepatitis B.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in a health-related field, experience as a health worker or project worker and demonstrated knowledge of current HIV, sexual health and hepatitis prevention, testing and treatment.

We are looking for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, while being able to initiate and develop projects, negotiate partnerships and evaluate outcomes.

The successful candidate will have high-level organisational skills, including the capacity to prioritise competing interests and meet tight deadlines. They must also be able to work in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current HIV, sexual health and hepatitis prevention, testing and treatment.
  • Experience in identifying, negotiating and building effective partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High-level organisational and communication skills.
