This is a key role within our organisation that focuses on developing and implementing Aboriginal-specific health promotion programs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal communities, with a focus on HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis. Key responsibilities include delivering on high-priority objectives outlined in local, state and national strategies, as well as building and strengthening collaborative relationships between services, organisations and sectors that work with Aboriginal communities.

As an Aboriginal Identified Role, this position requires someone to bring their cultural capability and lived experience as an Aboriginal person to drive meaningful change and improvement in Aboriginal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering on High-Priority Objectives:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs focused on HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with Aboriginal-led organisations, services and sectors to leverage resources and expertise.
