This position requires a skilled professional to plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs focused on HIV, STIs, and viral hepatitis in Aboriginal communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key priorities outlined in local, state, and national strategies, and building collaborative relationships between healthcare services and community organizations.
To support culturally safe approaches, the role involves working closely with Aboriginal-led organisations and other stakeholders to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of Aboriginal populations.
- Develop and implement targeted health promotion initiatives.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
- Provide expertise on HIV, STIs, and viral hepatitis prevention, testing, and treatment.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation related to Aboriginal health promotion.
This is an Aboriginal Identified Role. We are seeking someone who brings their cultural capability and lived experience as an Aboriginal person to this role.
