System Performance Specialist Job Description:
The System Performance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology-based information systems. This position is responsible for providing specialized support activities to facilitate ongoing system performance through timely resolution of incidents, service requests, problems, and defect list tasks using ITIL practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver Change and Release activities, hazard and service interruption notices for various technology systems in liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake risk management assessments relevant to critical systems, providing strategies to mitigate assessed risks
- Develop and implement service improvement initiatives, including workflow processes, technology configuration, and service level management
- Contribute to ongoing life cycle support, management, and development of systems, interfaces, and business processes through user engagement, acceptance testing, system upgrades, and training activities
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to maintain required outcomes
- Apply information security management arrangements, risk management practices, project activities, and other initiatives related to operational systems
