Machine Control Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This full-time permanent role involves installing and supporting machine control systems with a focus on automation, 2D, and 3D applications.

As a Machine Control Systems Specialist, you will work primarily onsite, with some phone and remote support activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Onsite and workshop-based installations of machine control systems and equipment;
  • Calibration and commissioning of machine systems and attachments;
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical support;
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment;
  • CUSTOMER TRAINING;

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Trade Qualified Auto Electrician, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills;
  • Understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic systems;
  • Ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Goal-oriented, outcome-focused, performance-driven;
  • Display a high degree of professionalism and positive attitude;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostics skills;
  • Strong practical and technical experience;
