**Role Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Energy Trading Systems Specialist to join our high-performing team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the delivery of the energy trading systems backlog.

This is a permanent ongoing role, preferably based in Hobart, Tasmania. You will contribute to efficient and effective business performance across our energy trading system enhancements, with direct access to internal customers and opportunities to lead projects.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in Business Analysis and Systems Analysis roles, including:

  • An ability to build strong and effective working relationships with a customer focus.
  • A whole-of-business perspective with the ability to understand the 'why' as well as the 'what'.
  • Strong and engaging communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Technical experience should include:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Digital Product Owner/Product Manager or Business Analyst.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum Methodologies.
  • Product strategy & roadmap development and negotiation of maximum value and business outcomes.
  • Providing expert business analysis in IT implementation.
  • Experience in requirements management & backlog management.

Desirable exposure to energy or finance industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Owning and optimising the energy trading systems.
  2. Leading end-to-end implementation of new IT initiatives.
  3. Identifying opportunities for business process improvement and automation.
