The Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. As a successful business with ecommerce development, maintenance, and support services, Elsner is poised for growth.

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in sales, be passionate about digital commerce, have knowledge and experience within the retail industry, and demonstrate a genuine interest in e-commerce. Utilizing your expertise in B2B & B2C sales, you will engage with key strategic clients to close deals professionally, ensuring mutual benefits. Your consultative sales skills will enable you to communicate and negotiate effectively with decision-makers from Australian SMBs and e-commerce business owners in the Jewellery, Tiles, Furniture, and Fashion sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel across Australia to generate interests through networking, conferences, and leveraging our outreach team's support.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business leads within the manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and wholesale sectors, focusing on ecommerce solutions seekers.
  • Develop new business opportunities in the AU & NZ market.
  • Achieve targets and manage them effectively, ensuring timely completion.
  • Regularly hand over new clients to the account management team.
  • Plan and execute strategies to acquire MQLS, SQLs, and convert them into new clients, collaborating with the Marketing Head & Sales Director.

Ideal Profile

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for retail, technology, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master's Degree would be advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales & business development, preferably in a strategic and consultative style sales role.
  • Experience in face-to-face interactions and negotiations with executive decision-makers from top companies (B2B & B2C's) in Australia.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and effective presentation skills with customers and senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Familiarity with retail, marketplace, and e-commerce experience is beneficial. Enthusiasm for these areas is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven, financially savvy, analytical, self-motivated, and hands-on individual with a proven ability to meet objectives and exceed targets.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as in a team, demonstrating initiative by being proactive.
  • A great sense of humor and a fun working attitude.
