Job Description

As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic Technology team, responsible for developing, managing, maintaining, and updating our ecommerce stores, administration platforms, transactional platforms, and associated services and applications.

You will collaborate with peers and seniors to develop and implement our technology stack and associated platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for customers and suppliers.

Your role will involve supporting optimisation and continuous improvement of our technology stack and associated platforms, as well as working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ecommerce / shopping cart knowledge
  • PHP, JavaScript/jQuery/CSS/SASS (Backbone, Tungsten, Node)
  • MySQL/SQL Server Database Development
  • Comfort in working in Linux and Windows environments
  • Agile Development Methodology
  • Familiar with CI/CD
  • Able to develop your application to achieve both functionality and performance
  • Payment gateway management and integration
  • Familiar with caching
  • Third-party platform integration experience
  • Have worked with and consumed web services such as REST and SOAP
  • Analytics integration and custom metrics tracking
  • 4+ years of PHP development
  • 1.5+ years of e-Commerce development
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work directly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality software
  • Love to learn new skills and technologies to solve problems for customers and clients
