The Role
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. As a successful business with Ecommerce development, maintenance, and support services, we aim to attract key strategic clients across Australia.
You will engage directly with decision-makers of Australian SMBs and E-commerce business owners in the retail industry, utilizing your outstanding B2B & B2C sales expertise to close deals professionally. You will implement your consultative sales skills to communicate and negotiate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- To travel across Australia and generate interests in the market through networking and conferences, supported by our outreach team.
- Proactively identify and chase new business leads within the manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and wholesale sectors.
- Responsible for new business development in the AU & NZ market, achieving targets and chasing them down on a timely basis.
- Handover new clients to the account management team regularly.
- Plan and execute acquiring MQLS, SQLs, ultimately converting them to new clients with the Marketing Head & Sales Director.
Ideal Candidate
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- A genuine passion for retail, technology, and e-commerce solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field; Master's Degree is a bonus.
- At least 2 years experience in Sales & Business Development 'hunting', ideally in a strategic and consultative style sales role.
- Experience in face-to-face interaction and negotiation with executive decision-makers within top companies (B2B & B2C's) in Australia.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and excellent presentation skills with customers and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Familiarity with retail, marketplace, and e-commerce experience is a strong plus.
- Enthusiasm for these areas is a must.
- Skills to thrive in a high-energy environment.
- Results-driven, financially focused, analytical, self-motivated, and a 'hands-on' person with proven ability to meet objectives and exceed targets.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- A great sense of humor and fun to work with.
