Death Benefit Claims Professional

As a Claims Manager you'll oversee death benefit claims from notification to payout on behalf of the Australian Retirement Trust. This includes managing notifications, assessments and payments while maintaining timely communication with stakeholders.
About the RoleThis role involves:
- Conducting notifications, determining insurance eligibility and issuing claims information and forms for all claims.
- Effective review of insurer and fund recommendations, challenging when appropriate.
- Implementation of proactive claims management strategies to assist in effective claim completion.
- Management of a claims portfolio and collaboration to meet customer demands.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with insurance claims in superannuation and associated legislation.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act with discretion and sensitivity at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customers and provide solutions that meet their needs.
