Lead Claim Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lead Claim Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the review and settlement of death claims. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient processing of claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claim distribution through case management to payment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for claimants, providing them with accurate information and updates on their claim status.
  • Maintain queues under case management, ensuring all outstanding work items are addressed within service standards.
  • Ensure workflow is maintained at a high standard.
  • Identify insurance benefits for members and manage relationships with insurers and third parties to facilitate successful claim assessment.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with claimants.
  • Excellent problem-solving and solution-finding skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and pride in delivering quality results.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in administration or superannuation insurance.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including proofreading and English grammar.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
