Student Wellbeing Support Role
At St George Christian School, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Wellbeing Officer to join our team. This is an ongoing, up to full-time (negotiable) position that requires the right individual to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the wellbeing and mental health of students, providing a safe and inclusive environment for them to thrive.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies that promote student wellbeing.
- Develop and deliver programs that promote positive relationships, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
- Provide individual and group support to students, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
- Work closely with the school's leadership team to ensure that student wellbeing is integrated into the school's overall vision and goals.
Requirements:
- A BalCC Application for Employment
- A separate CV in which the applicant addresses the selection criteria
- A covering letter
- The successful applicant must satisfy VIC Working with Children Check requirements and be eligible to work in Australia
