Senior Officer, Student Finance

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Officer, Student Finance to join our team at Federation University Australia. As a key member of our student finance team, you will provide fee advice and assistance to internal and external clients, and be responsible for a range of administrative functions including invoicing, collection, refunds, and reconciliation of domestic and international student fees.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and timely advice to clients;
- Managing student invoices and ensuring timely communication with clients;
- Coordinating the collection of outstanding fees and reconciling student fee income and expenditure;
- Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the student lifecycle and relevant policy, procedure, and legislation;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. You will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
