About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Alliance Lead – Business Development Strategist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our North American partnership team, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering the joint go-to-market strategy with our Business Consulting & Advisory Partners (BCAPs).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with BCAPs to identify joint enterprise clients where we can jointly deliver business impact and drive revenue growth.
  2. Go-to-Market Strategy: Serve as a key member of the partnership team in helping to define and deliver the joint go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with AWS sales and business development teams.
  3. Account Management: Engage with the AWS field sales and business development team to maximize the success of the BCAPs in supporting our customers and drive business outcomes.
  4. Strategic Business Development: Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (sales teams, partners, marketing, support, etc.) to drive innovation and growth.
  5. Practice Enablement: Work closely with the Partners to build and enable practices around AWS and shape how the partners position AWS to their clients, driving industry transformation and business outcomes.
  6. Complex Engagements: Handle complex engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market, leveraging your technical, analytical, and business acumen to drive success.

Requirements
  1. Relevant Business Experience: 10+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience, with a strong understanding of the technology industry and cloud computing.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Relevant business level technical knowledge, including cloud, virtualization, AI/ML, and experience working within the top-tier Management Consulting community.
  3. Leadership Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills, leadership skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  4. Education: MBA, Masters, or equivalent executive level experience.
