About the Role:

Urbis is a leading consulting firm that specializes in urban planning and development. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Strategist to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
  • Work closely with our Directors and Business Development Managers to build and strengthen client relationships and promote our services within key sectors.
  • Provide strategic advice and coaching to our team members to support the implementation of business development strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of key clients and sectors, working closely with our internal teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to inform our business development strategies.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and communications teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support our business development objectives.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Knowledge of the urban planning and development industry, with a strong understanding of the key trends and challenges facing our clients.
