About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups in the ANZ region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive top-line revenue and secure lighthouse customers.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for Analytics in Startup ANZ, collaborating with teams in the field.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in data modeling and warehousing, data lakes, data integration and ETL process, and big data technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
