Facilities Operations Specialist

The role of Assistant Facilities Manager involves overseeing the management of a team responsible for providing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.
About the Job- Oversight of tenant and building services provided in accordance with agreed site service matrix to service types, levels, and costs.
- Delivery of scheduled and required equipment and systems maintenance for assigned facilities.
- Technical management of all facility equipment and systems including central plant, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, potable water, wastewater, plumbing etc. per operations and maintenance procedures.
- Analysis of operational data for trends and opportunities to improve maintenance both planned and reactive resulting in optimum value.
- Ensure all corrective work orders, facilities requests, and preventive task maintenance are being tracked and closed in client system on time.
- Compliance with all operations requirements including maintaining up-to-date maintenance and operations records.
- Development and implementation of technical solutions to operational problems.
- Maintain surveillance to ensure no interruption to facilities.
- Ensure client needs and concerns are considered and addressed in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular interaction with business unit personnel to ensure good communications and service satisfaction, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the use of financial tools and processes for invoicing and purchase order raising.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain task-focused.
- Ability to communicate at all levels and build effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
