Data Centre Facilities Specialist

Amazon Web Services is seeking a skilled facilities operations specialist to oversee the data centre's physical infrastructure and coordinate critical site events.
About the Role:This position requires leadership expertise to implement a newly developed facilities operations centre. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of data centre IT infrastructure and how it co-exists with data centre facilities infrastructure.
- Monitor the data centre's physical infrastructure platform for optimal performance.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external teams.
- Develop communication protocols to enhance team efficiency.
- Contribute to outage analysis and ensure timely updates to records.
- Coordinate emergency recovery efforts and develop tools to improve team performance.
The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, 1+ year of experience working with building and/or electrical platform management systems, and 2+ years of experience in data centre engineering/operations.
