Job Overview

The role of an Assistant Facilities Manager is to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. This includes managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all facilities-related tasks are completed efficiently.

About the Job

This is a mid-senior level position within our Global Workplace Solutions division, where you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our clients. You will work closely with our property managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of tenant and building services provided by our team in accordance with agreed site service matrices.
  • Delivery of scheduled and required equipment and systems maintenance for assigned facilities.
  • Technical management of all facility equipment and systems, including central plant, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, potable water, wastewater, plumbing, etc.
  • Analysis of operational data for trends and opportunities to improve maintenance processes, resulting in optimum value.
  • Ensure all corrective work orders, facilities requests, and preventive task maintenance are tracked and closed in client systems on time.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain task-focused. You should also have experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar role, and be familiar with financial tools and processes for invoicing and purchase order raising.
