Job DescriptionThis challenging yet fulfilling role involves working with clients to identify and overcome obstacles that prevent them from achieving their full potential. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing guidance and support, and helping clients to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including those who have experienced physical or psychological injury, to help them navigate the complex process of rehabilitation and return to work. Your expertise and empathy will be invaluable in helping these individuals to achieve their goals and regain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments to identify client needs and goals
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent assessment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
