Role Overview

This is an opportunity to work as a Rehabilitation Consultant, where you will be delivering assessments and counselling to individuals navigating a sudden change in career goals and circumstances.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct assessments that guide people toward their new career, while collaborating and building relationships with various stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

You will identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.

To achieve this, you will visit workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the health benefits of good work.

About You
  • You should have a tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • You must be registered with AHPRA, AASW or ASORC, and have a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans.
Responsibilities
  1. Deliver assessments and counselling to individuals facing career changes.
  2. Conduct assessments to guide people toward their new career.
  3. Collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
  4. Identify RTW barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
  5. Visit workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the health benefits of good work.
