Overview

Location and work arrangements: Office based in Maitland, with pool cars and flexible working arrangements. About you: tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology (5th year completed – Masters for Psychology applicants). Registration with AHPRA, AASW or ASORC. Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessments and counselling to people who are navigating a sudden change in career goals and circumstances.
  • Conduct assessments to guide people toward their new career.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
  • Visit workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the health benefits of good work.
