The Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Area Vice President, Sales for the Australia and New Zealand region to become part of our Global Field Sales Team. This position is pivotal as Imperva leads the charge in a new category of business security solutions tailored for essential applications and high-value data within data centers. Numerous leading organizations and government bodies depend on Imperva to mitigate data breaches, comply with regulations, and manage data-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales teams across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Drive strategic and tactical sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on territory planning.
  • Stay updated on new products and services through comprehensive training and self-study.
  • Maintain awareness of customer business opportunities and competitive landscape, regularly updating Imperva management on key accounts.
  • Work closely with the APJ leadership team and other functions such as marketing and channels.
  • Secure new business and manage maintenance renewal orders for all revenue streams.
  • Engage in diverse sales activities that require persistence and creativity.
  • Exhibit strong time management capabilities.
  • Understand and navigate all phases of the sales cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Business field.
  • A dynamic sales leader with 7-10 years of proven success in direct sales, particularly in high-level executive selling of long-cycle products, preferably within Security Technology.
  • Experience in selling enterprise-level solutions in security and compliance sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
