About the Role

The City of Parramatta is undergoing significant transformation, and this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the Community Care Team. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing highly responsive customer service, attention to detail, and flexible support to ensure efficient operations across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill all administrative duties, including switchboard, word processing, communication dissemination, and customer inquiries.
  • Complete accurate, reconciled, record keeping, and data entry across multiple IT platforms.
  • Manage Meals on Wheels stock control processes, including freezer work, stock rotation, inventory, meal packing, and ordering.
  • Raise Purchase Orders and Receipting in line with council processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience, adept at managing daily tasks efficiently.
  • Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business solution technologies.
  • Experience in food distribution is highly desirable, including tasks such as lifting, stock rotation, inventory management, order processing, and meticulous attention to detail regarding allergen labeling and packing.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and daily cleaning duties in the kitchen area.
  • Current Class C Driver's License is required for this role.
