About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Office Administrator to join our team at Norwest Recruitment. As an Accounts and Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices into our accounting system, follow up on overdue invoices, and arrange payments
  • Take calls and assist clients with enquiries, often transferring to the relevant person in our engineering team, responding to emails
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist the accountant with month-end procedures
  • Accurately enter data into our system
  • Assist the team with administrative and general office duties, meeting and greeting clients
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an 'all-round' accounts role, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping tasks
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a good phone manner and ability to write professionally in email correspondence
  • Ability to enjoy a role with variety, with an accounts focus but also taking calls and emails from clients and assisting with their enquiries
  • Experience using MYOB, with proficiency in MS Excel
