We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Representative to join our team in Sydney. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting small to medium-sized businesses into active merchants.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting and Acquiring New Clients: Utilize cold calling, field sales, door-to-door sales, and networking to acquire new clients.
- Lead Generation and Conversion: Execute outreach strategies to create a pipeline of high-potential merchants.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, objection handling to closing deals.
- Client Onboarding and Support: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience, troubleshoot early-stage issues, and provide merchant support.
- Account Management: Build long-term merchant relationships, drive upsells, and product adoption.
- Territory Development: Help shape regional sales campaigns and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, field sales, door-to-door sales, merchant services, or payments.
- Results Orientation: Thrive in a target-driven environment and consistently exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- People Skills: Excellent communication, rapport-building, and interpersonal skills.
