Key Account Manager

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager who can build and maintain strong relationships with our merchant partners.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance merchant engagement and satisfaction, resulting in increased hit rate, sales, and retention rates.
  • Train merchants on DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) and its benefits through regular training sessions and ongoing support.
  • Analyse DCC results to identify top-performing merchants and develop targeted plans to engage them.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the region and onboard new clients through effective networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing merchants and potential new clients to provide personalized support and address their needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure smooth operations.

  • Achieve group hit rate target monthly by regularly reviewing performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Meet quarterly meeting/training targets set by the business and track progress to report on training outcomes.
  • Exceed quarterly assigned sales targets set by the business by developing action plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention rates through client satisfaction surveys and feedback actions.
  • Increase the number of new merchant acquisitions in the region by setting specific acquisition goals and tracking progress.

  • Merchants - Management at hotels - GM/HM/RDM/FOM/Front Office staff. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Financial Controllers and Finance team/Accounts and Chargeback departments/IT Managers and support staff where applicable. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Within the business: Reports to - Team Leader - Australia / Liaises with team members/Head of CRM & Training /Customer Care/Service delivery team/Chargebacks team for merchant issues/internal teams for terminal and reporting queries and issues when required. Ensure clear communication and collaboration across all teams.
