The opportunity

As Partnerships Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key merchant accounts across your territories for QLD and NSW.

Some of the things you will be involved in:

  • Managing key Merchant relationships, leveraging opportunities to drive additional opportunities and maintaining loyal, mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Handle (remote and in person) Member complaints about a Merchant in your territory (non-honoring of offer etc.) in a timely manner
  • Handle Merchant cancellation requests in your territory using appropriate objection handling to overcome the request and retain
  • Work with the Head of Partnerships on a 'Waitstaff' Membership strategy for your Merchant territory
  • Work with Partnership Managers in your territory to produce tracking and data reports to help with Merchant acquisition and retention
  • Produce your own tracking and data reports on a regular basis for key Merchants in your territory
  • Work with Partnership Managers in your territory to implement and conduct Merchant Briefings when needed
  • Partnering with the Marketing Team to deliver strategic & tactical marketing campaigns. Ensuring sign off from the clients is managed prior to the EDMs launching and in line with milestone dates
  • Ensuring new product offers, locations, and pricing amendments are communicated to the team so that updates can be made on the digital pages throughout the year and signed off by clients

  • Account Management experience within the hospitality sector
  • Enthusiastic and driven
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and decision-making abilities
  • Goal driven
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to demonstrate this
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Be able to quickly understand a customer's requirements
  • Ability to be mobile, agile, receptive, and welcoming to change
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Capacity to arrange workload to meet conflicting priorities and deadlines
