Overview:
Investa Property Group is a diversified real estate company with a proven track record of investment and development across office and living markets. We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Leadership Director - Assets to oversee all finance functions related to property management, asset management, and shared services.

Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:
As a key member of our leadership team, you will lead and mentor a large and diverse team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and partner with various stakeholders. You will be responsible for overseeing timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing high-quality strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a large and diverse team to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly performance reporting, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Promote collaboration with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies for assets and owners.
  • Drive high-quality regular asset-level reforecasting to identify areas for asset performance improvement.
  • Oversight of internal and external valuation processes, collating and analyzing information for reporting to Senior Leaders within Investa.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in property finance roles.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams.
  • System knowledge (MRI and Yardi) desirable.
  • Driving process changes and finance transformation desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management accounting principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
