The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing sales and budgets, achieving targets, and driving growth within your allocated territory. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with in-store stakeholders, ensuring they feel well-supported and informed about new products, promotions, and cycle deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and budgets, achieve targets, and drive growth within your allocated territory
  • Visit customers in your territory (usually 6 per day) to ensure they are aware of new products, upcoming promotions, and cycle deals
  • Plan and implement 10-week Territory cycle plans to maximize sales and product coverage
  • Complete 1 country trip every 4 weeks to stay up-to-date with market trends and customer needs
  • Build product range and volume to ensure good coverage of all products in all stores
  • Improve product positioning and administration of orders, customer contact details, and order history
  • Coordinate in-store and window displays with state merchandisers and train pharmacy staff members on new and existing product ranges as needed
  • Plan and execute window or in-store displays/promotions to drive sales and brand awareness
  • Accept returns on damaged or out of date products and set up new accounts as needed
  • Attend relevant conferences and sales meetings to stay informed and network with industry professionals
  • Liaise with internal sales and provide ongoing feedback relating to all relevant customer information

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, who possesses strong rapport-building and interpersonal relationship-building skills, as well as excellent communication skills. You should have a solid understanding of retail pharmacy and be able to stay motivated and work effectively autonomously. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required.
