About the Role

The Trade Account Manager will be responsible for the sales systems and processes for the company's intake of new projects, and fostering the existing customer relationships, while continuing to further grow the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and decision-makers
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers through the sales process, listening to and analysing their needs, providing information and advice regarding products, providing solutions for enquiries, and helping to guide their decision-making process prior to finalising sales
  • Act as a point of escalation and assistance to the sales team for large-scale sales projects and sales
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong building/construction knowledge or experience (industry contacts are also a bonus)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to become a product expert
  • Ability to manage a department, including internal staff, suppliers, adhere to construction codes, subcontractors installing product, customer satisfaction, and customer growth
  • Proven experience in sales
