Business Development Specialist

Are you a motivated and results-driven individual looking for a challenging role in the IT professional services industry? Ayan Infotech is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities through cold calling and emailing prospects, building relationships, and setting up meetings for the sales team.
About the Role:
This is a part-time role with the potential to go permanent based on performance. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for conducting outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and assisting with digital marketing efforts to drive new lead generation and awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls and emails to generate leads.
- Build trust with potential clients, handle objections, and effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Qualify leads by assessing their fit with our ideal client profile, budget, and needs.
- Organise and participate in networking events, conferences, and partner events to expand business opportunities.
- Assist with digital marketing efforts to drive new lead generation and awareness.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts and track progress toward lead generation goals.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Rep (SDR) or Business Development Rep (BDR) role, ideally within B2B phone and email-based sales.
- Cold calling and cold emailing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
- Tenacious follow-up skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Experience in handling objections and overcoming challenges in conversations.
- Previous experience in sales is required, especially within IT professional services or similar industries.
- Ambition to grow in a high-earning potential IT services sales role.
