Assistant Field Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Field Manager to join our dynamic team at Roy Morgan Research. As a key member of our field operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our research projects.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, Train, and Support Interviewers: Develop and implement training programs to ensure interviewers have the necessary skills and knowledge to collect high-quality data.
- Manage Workforce Allocation: Effectively allocate interviewers to research projects, ensuring optimal coverage and minimizing costs.
- Develop and Enhance Training Materials: Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources, to support interviewer development.
- Communicate with Project Staff and Management: Maintain regular communication with project staff, management, and other field staff to ensure well-planned and managed projects.
- Manage Field Logistics and Administration: Oversee the scheduling, onboarding, and offboarding of interviewers, as well as manage field materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the production and distribution of field materials, including survey questionnaires and sample management procedures.
- Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Identify and resolve any issues or queries related to data quality and integrity, ensuring the accuracy and suitability of survey questionnaires and sample management procedures.
- Positive Attitude and Motivation: A positive, motivating, and can-do attitude is essential for success in this role.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with project staff, management, and interviewers.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, are necessary to ensure the successful execution of research projects.
- Collaborative Attitude: A positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for working as part of a team, is essential for success in this role.
- Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required, as well as familiarity with statistical tools and their application in research analysis.
