Field Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Roy Morgan Research. As a key member of our research operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of field staff, ensuring the successful execution of high-profile research projects that impact communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and support a team of field staff, providing ongoing guidance and coaching to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to excel.
- Operational Management: Manage workforce allocation, ensuring optimal interviewer coverage for each research project, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Training and Development: Develop and enhance training materials, and implement training programs to ensure high-quality data collection.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with project staff, senior management, and other field staff to ensure well-planned and managed projects, and provide accurate reporting on project budgets, KPI targets, and progress.
- Logistics and Administration: Manage field logistics and administrative tasks, including scheduling, onboarding/offboarding, training, and performance tracking.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and managing a team, with a strong track record of success.
- Operational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Research Experience: Experience working in market research, with a strong understanding of research operations and data collection.
- Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and experience with statistical tools and their application in research analysis.
