Director, Strategic Partnership Development

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Collaboration Strategy and Transformation Program.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategy development, business modeling, and program management within the government or collecting sectors.
This role requires strong leadership skills to manage commercial engagement and develop strategies for collaboration and digitization activities.
A key responsibility of this role is to produce business models that ensure ongoing sustainability for collaborative services.
The successful candidate will have advanced specialist knowledge of the Australian library, collecting, and research sector.
Additionally, qualifications or equivalent experience in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, or Financial Management are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, monitoring, and reporting against relevant strategies for collaboration and digitization activities;
- Producing business models to ensure ongoing sustainability for collaborative services;
- Managing commercial engagement;
- Leading a small team to provide strategic direction and support;
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development, business modeling, and/or program management;
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders;
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team;
