Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to support the Director in developing key frameworks and procedures.

This is a contract role that commences ASAP and runs through to December 2025, with flexible hybrid work arrangements based out of Woden.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic commercial and partnership projects with industry, government, and community stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop opportunities that support financial sustainability and workforce capability goals.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to shape and implement impactful partnership initiatives.
  • Drive transformation in business development culture through proactive delivery of commercial and partnership activities.
  • Enhance systems and campaigns that support business development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new training products and services for priority markets.
Requirements:
  • Strong relationship-building skills across government, industry, and community.
  • Proven experience in business development or partnerships in VET or tertiary sectors.
  • Effective project management with ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation and advice.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, show initiative, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in preparing proposals and leading stakeholder discussions.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and regulations.
