About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Service Coordinator to join our team at Sydney Airport. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between Operations and other teams to coordinate daily aircraft operations
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure all relevant information is shared efficiently
  • Coordinate changes to shift rosters as required
  • Provision and delegation of daily planning requirements, including flight editing, passenger loads, and ticket sales
  • Manage disrupted services and affected passengers, ensuring their needs are met promptly
  • Accountable for on-time operation, reporting any issues
  • Counsel staff as needed
  • Monitor service providers' performance and ensure it meets contractual obligations
  • Responsible for company procedural and regulatory compliance
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Maintain company equipment and facilities
  • Monitor uniform standards and address any issues
  • Cash handling and balancing of the ASR at end of shift
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good understanding of airport operations and procedures
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • High computer literacy, including knowledge of SABRE
  • Familiarity with policies and procedures
