This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading residential Mortgages and Asset Finance organisation that has risen above competitors in a competitive market by implementing key changes.

As the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team reporting to the Head of Legal & Risk. This role offers scope to grow your compliance and legally focused career within the lucrative residential Mortgages and Asset Finance markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's compliance management framework
  • Perform activities including training and managing the ACL and AFSL licenses
  • Assess incidents and breaches and report when required
  • Manage regulatory engagements with regulators including ASIC and authorities
  • Manage regulatory risk and ensure compliance with all obligations
  • Prepare and present reports on compliance-related matters to management

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer credit laws and excellent written and communication skills. They should be able to work under their own initiative and be results-driven.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge base in NCCP or similar
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Results-driven and able to work independently
  • A legal background is highly desirable

We offer a competitive salary package for this role, estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards for Sydney CBD.
