Job Overview

This role involves generating new sales and retaining existing sales within assigned accounts/territory by providing application or field service support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for mining & construction in the assigned territory.
  • Promote Earth Cutting Tooling/solutions to achieve/exceed assigned sales goal; favorably influence product selection.
  • Assess and evaluate direct and indirect customers' needs and develop an appropriate sales strategy.
  • Monitor customers and competitors' activities in the market.
  • Manage distributor partners and drive them to increase sales year-over-year (YOY) and new business development for Earth Cutting Tooling (ECT).
  • Support team sales initiatives by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts.
  • Key Account Management for projects in the territory; CRM adoption (MS Dynamics).
  • Negotiate contracts, programs, and other agreements with customers and vendors as applicable.
  • Carry out field trials of products, customer complaint resolution, gather competitive information, conduct seminars, train on ECT products and applications, etc.
  • Execute complex tasks and projects, perform analysis of a complex nature, and develop recommendations to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare progress, status, and forecast reports on multiple key aspects of the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Maintain required Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate in an Engineering Discipline and/or work experience in Engineering Products and/or Engineering Diploma/Certificate, preferably with sales experience – minimum 5 years.
  • Desirable to have 3-5 years of experience in sales/application of Earth Cutting Tooling and/or Wear Products and handling construction and mining companies/contractors.
  • Competent in understanding and communicating all product and technical information effectively to customers.
  • Able to assess customer needs competently.
  • Willing to travel extensively from the defined territory to construction and mining sites.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on experience and location.
