The role involves driving net-new customer acquisition by introducing Confluent's leading data streaming platform to prospective clients across the mid-market and enterprise segments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and engaging with potential customers
- Building strong relationships with C-level stakeholders
- Developing tailored value propositions to meet customer needs
- Partnering with solutions engineers and services teams to deliver effective solutions
- Applying strategic sales methodologies to build deal structures and close deals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize territory potential
- Staying up-to-date on Confluent's offerings and industry trends
- Traveling to engage customers and progress deals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience
- Success in consultative, solution-selling environments within tech
- Experience applying structured sales methodologies
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A team-first mindset and high integrity
- Willingness to travel as required
