Head of Communications

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Communications to join our team at Domain Group. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will play a critical role in shaping the narrative for our business and working with key stakeholders to bring it to life for various audiences.

About the Role

This is a parental leave cover for 12 months, providing an exciting opportunity for a seasoned communications professional to make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with colleagues across the business to understand our strategy and deliver comms programs that support progress against it
  • Develop and implement internal comms programs that get employees excited and motivated about ESG, our business strategy, product, and technology, and understanding our customers
  • Align communications to identify opportunities and maximise impact
  • Guide senior leaders and executives through reputation issues, crisis response, and change communications
  • Oversee and support the delivery of day-to-day communications content and channels, including the intranet, corporate website, and social media
Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in PR/Communications/Corporate Affairs, Internal Communications, and/or Brand Communications, ideally within a medium to large company
  • Proven ability to develop Internal Communications and External Communications strategies and manage them through execution
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Proven ability to assess and present campaign and programs of work post-implementation and act on findings
  • Outstanding written communication skills that are clear, articulate, and engaging
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, including Executive Leaders
  • Ability to build trusted and advisory relationships with spokespeople to support them in delivering key messages and representing the business objectives
