Public Relations Specialist - Full Time

We are looking for an innovative Public Relations Specialist to become a vital part of our esteemed PR team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our press office operations and executing PR initiatives that distinctively position Domain Group within the property media sector. Who are you?

You are a dedicated PR expert or journalist who excels in a dynamic environment. Your creativity, news awareness, and understanding of the media landscape set you apart. Working closely with our Senior PR Manager and Head of Communications, along with various stakeholders, you will convey essential messages and enhance brand differentiation during critical business moments. The ideal candidate will:

● Cultivate and strengthen existing media relationships while exploring new avenues to engage wider audiences.

● Stay informed about property and home content, current events, and broader socio-economic trends that could influence media opportunities in our industry.

● Generate creative news angles, pitch compelling stories, and witness their success in the media.

● Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp objectives and projects, ensuring alignment in all communications.

● Monitor relevant media topics and contribute to business strategies and marketing objectives linked to PR opportunities.

● Possess a growth mindset, quick thinking abilities, and an interest in analyzing data within a PR framework.

You have:

● A minimum of 4 years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism, preferably within a medium to large organization or agency.

● A proven track record of simplifying complex data into accessible communications, including media releases, pitches, and briefing documents.

● Experience in managing media monitoring, updating media databases, and generating reports for campaigns.

● Exceptional written communication skills that are clear, engaging, and articulate.

● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
